   Plan to eat dinner together at the table. Before dinner, write down different prompts on index cards/paper. Create enough prompts for each person to share.

   Once everyone is seated and ready—start the drawing game.

   Say: “I would love to hear about everyone’s day! Let’s play a drawing game and take turns sharing!”

   Allow your child to choose who goes first. Validate feelings as individuals share their moments.

3. Step3Praise and Prayer

   Say: “Thank you for sharing with me! I’m so glad you can tell me about your day. I love listening to you. Our days are full of so many moments. Some moments are really good and others are really hard. Did you know that God is with us in EVERY moment?

   Nothing is too hard or scary for Him. In our mountains and our valleys, God is always there. He comforts us when we’re sad and rejoices with us when we’re happy. Thank you God for always being with us.”
